The release date of Avatar 2 has been pushed back from December 2021 to December 2022 due to the ongoing global health crisis. The sequel began filming in 2017, but considering the film's mix of live-action and motion capture elements, it's not surprising that it's taken so long.
If you are one of those who have been waiting for this movie, the release of the movie trailers must be very eagerly awaited. But where to watch them?
Usually, movie trailers will be released one at a time. You can watch it on Avatar.com, YouTube, IMDb, or other movie sites.
The Avatar: The Way of Water 3D teaser trailer ran exclusively in theatres with the release of Marvel's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, beginning on May 4 internationally and May 6 in the US. This drew applause from the audience. A week after that, the Avatar 2 trailer was posted online.
As it turns out, a significant number of the original cast members are back for more, including some unexpected faces. Just keep in mind that the majority of the actors will be portraying the natives of Pandora, the Na'vi, who will be totally computer-generated and will have their movements caught by a motion capture system. This means that you won't see many familiar faces on screen.
Below is the list of the cast side-by-side with the character they play in the movie.
1) Sam Worthington as Jake Sully
A former human who fell in love with Neytiri and befriended the Na'vi after joining the Avatar Program, eventually guiding the Na'vi to victory in their fight with humans. He abandoned his human body to become a permanent member of the Na'vi and is now the leader of the Omaticaya.
2) Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri
The daughter of the previous clan leader, the future Tsahk of the clan, and Jake's wife.
3) Sigourney Weaver as Kiri
The adopted teenage daughter of Jake and Neytiri. Weaver is first featured in the first film as Dr. Grace Augustine, a human who sides with the Na'vi and is killed during the fight.
4) Stephen Lang as Colonel Miles Quaritch
A human who commanded the RDA (Resources Development Administration), the human organization conquering Pandora, in their battle with the Na'vi.
5) Cliff Curtis as Tonowari

In the first film, he was a scientist who worked for the Avatar Program and came to join Jake's uprising against the RDA.
Avatar: The Way of Water tells a story about Jake Sully, Neytiri, and their five children as they travel across the world together for the first time. The children include his sons Neteyam and Lo'ak, his daughter Tuk, his adoptive daughter Kiri (born from Grace Augustine's inert Na'vi avatar), and a human boy named Spider, the son of Colonel Miles Quaritch who was born on Pandora because infants cannot survive the cryostasis journey to Earth.
The RDA returns to Pandora, much to the chagrin of the Na'vi, to begin colonization efforts. Bridgehead City, a new main operating base and settlement, is built. Quaritch is one of the newcomers, cloned as a Na'vi and uploaded with his template's memories from before his death.
Jake and his family flee the Omaticaya and seek refuge with the Metkayina clan on Pandora's eastern coast, where they are welcomed despite the fact that some tribesmen mock Jake and his children because of their genetic human heritage.
Lo'ak befriends Tsireya, the daughter of clan chief Tonowari and his wife Ronal, and the family learns the ways of the reef people. Kiri develops a spiritual bond with the sea and its creatures, and the family learns the ways of the reef people.
It's been 13 years since James Cameron's "Avatar" transformed the film industry and dominated the box office charts, making history in the process. Now, after a very long wait, the much-anticipated sequel "Avatar: The Way of Water" is almost ready to make its debut in theaters on December 16, 2022.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Avatar: The Way of Water" has a running time of three hours and ten minutes. To be sure, the original "Avatar" film, released in 2009, was two hours and 41 minutes long, nearly 30 minutes shorter than its sequel epic.
There is also the 3D format of this movie which will make you feel the amazing adventure of Jack and his family.
Unfortunately, you can only watch Avatar: The Way of Water in theaters right now. You can't buy it or stream it yet, so you'll have to wait.
We cannot be sure for now when you can stream Avatar: The Way of Water online. But there are some ideas. After COVID, newly released movies have most likely been put on streaming services about 45-60 days after playing in theaters.
While it takes up to 70 days for Marvel Studios' output to hit streaming, the recent Disney release, Strange World, is being fast-tracked onto Disney Plus after only 30 days. These are unlikely to factor into Avatar: The Way of Water's streaming plans (which have not yet been announced).
There may not be a specific release date for the Avatar sequel on Disney Plus or other streaming services, but we shouldn't expect it to arrive before July 2023.
As mentioned before, you cannot stream the movie yet, but you'll probably be able to start streaming it at the beginning or the middle of 2023. When the time comes, you can stream it on Disney+, just like Avatar 1.
As a new-released movie, Avatar: The Water Way attracts movie freaks to go to the cinemas to watch it. But some people don’t feel really comfortable spending money to watch it in the cinema. So, streaming the movie can be a better option since it is cheaper than watching it in cinemas.
You can do it at home with family or friends while grabbing some munchies. But of course, you need to subscribe to a streaming service which will cost you some money. Whether you subscribe to it monthly or annually.
If you don't want to spend money on the subscription, you can just download the movie using StreamFab downloader. StreamFab is a great streaming video downloader that is super user-friendly, even for people who are not technology savvy, and allows you to download streaming videos from all the popular streaming services out there, including but not limited to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, and more.
Streaming movies is indeed easy and saves more money when compared to watching movies in cinemas. Especially if it's your favorite movie or a recently released movie, like Avatar: The Water Way. There are several streaming services that can be used to stream Avatar: The Water Way, such as Disney+, Netflix, and others.
Although not as much as the money you spend to watch the movie in theaters, streaming movies using a streaming service costs you money to subscribe. But there is a way that enables you to enjoy movies without streaming. You can download them using StreamFab. And you can then watch the downloaded movies offline anywhere.
