The conclusion of the fan-favorite Halloween trilogy series has come to an end this year with the release of Halloween Ends.
Jamie Lee Curtis has been very clear that Halloween Ends will be her last appearance as Laurie Strode, even though the Halloween Ends’ creator John Carpenter does not think the series is coming to an end.
For Halloween Ends, Jamie Lee Curtis plays Laurie Strode once more as she pursues vengeance against Michael Myers for wreaking havoc on the town of Haddonfield and killing numerous people. For Curtis, acting in the movie helped as a liberation.
The American slasher movie Halloween Ends, released in 2022, is the follow-up to Halloween Kills (2021), the franchise's thirteenth entry. It is also the last episode of a trilogy of sequels that began with the 2018 film, which comes just after the 1978 original.
Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, Rohan Campbell, Will Patton, Kyle Richards, and James Jude Courtney are among the cast members of the David Gordon Green-directed and co-written movie.
The main character of the movie is Corey Cunningham, a young man who falls in love with Laurie Strode's granddaughter while experiencing a series of life-altering incidents, including running across Michael Myers. As a result, Corey becomes a violent outcast.
Prior to the release of Halloween in 2018, McBride revealed that he and Green had intended to pitch two films that would be shot concurrently but had changed their minds after waiting to see how the first film did.
In July 2019, the title of the sequel—Halloween Kills—was made public due to the success of the original film.
The cast of Halloween Ends includes fan favorites and also some new faces.
• Jamie Lee Curtis is back as Laurie
When John Carpenter and Debra Hill cast me in the role of Laurie Strode, they stated, "Everything good in my life came from that s***ty little office on Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood " Lee Curtis shared about playing the iconic character for one last time.
Curtis said in an interview that she will always be Laurie Strode because of the fans, even after her death.
• Andi Matichak as Allyson
When questioned how she felt acting in Halloween ends, she shared, "I think that my on-screen grandmother, Laurie Strode, is the one who kind of invented the term scream queen back in 1978”, and, she mentioned that she doesn’t feel like she has yet earned that title.
Andi Matichak, who plays Laurie Strode's granddaughter Allyson, told ScreenRant. I believe I'm making progress in that direction, and when I do, I will proudly and honorably wear that badge. We're moving up, and I feel like a screaming princess right now."
• Will Patton as Deputy Frank Hawkins
According to Patton, he likes "frightening things" because they are "fitting for our time."
The director of Blumhouse, Jason Blum, is a "really interesting guy," according to Patton, who added to Collider. Patton shared that Jason manages to make these movies that, on the surface, are popular, scary movies, and still put in many meaningful things.
• James Courtney and Nick Castle return as the Shape or Michael Myers
This is definitely more than a trilogy, according to James Jude Courtney, one of the actors who portray silent murderer Michael Myers in Halloween Ends. It is a three-act movie, with each act getting its own release.
Therefore, just like in any movie, the first two acts build to the third act's dramatic climax. Without giving away too much of that extraordinarily intense, violent, and erotic finale, I can't go any further with this.

We anticipate that Laurie will use whatever means she can in the final film to try to put Michael down once and for all.
Maybe we can also have some insight into Michael's obsession with going back to his boyhood home.
Although Curtis is keeping quiet about what to anticipate, he did tell sources that it will "shock people". It will infuriate people greatly. People will be stimulated by it. It will agitate people, no doubt.
And it is a lovely way to wrap out this trilogy.
Halloween Ends is a "love story," as Green sought to give each movie in the trilogy its own distinct subject.
John Carpenter called the movie a "departure" from the other two. Principal photography was conducted in Georgia between January and March 2022, with reshoots happening in the middle of the year after it was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Will Michael Myers and the Halloween series truly come to an end with this?
Expect a clear conclusion to this particular story, but don't bank on it given how the timeline has continually remade itself over time.

The first Halloween Ends trailer was published on YouTube on July 20, 2022.
Both the recognizable theme song from the series and Michael Myers' labored breathing are audible through his mask. The trailer starts with Michael Myers entering a house where Laurie is holding a gun and saying, "Let's go. Let's leave."
Next, Myers' pursuit of further innocent bystanders and flashbacks to earlier Halloween flicks follow. Strode tells the serial killer to "come and get me, motherf**ker" as the trailer comes to a close.
The second and final Halloween Ends trailer was released on 27th of September 2022.
The second trailer starts with Strode saying that four years have gone since Michael Myers vanished. But in the next scene, Myers can be seen in a tunnel strangling a guy to death.
Strode claims that Myers feels more dangerous than ever, and based on his murders in the trailer alone, we don't doubt her. Others, like Strode’s granddaughter Allyson, on the other hand, dismiss her cautions as paranoia and psychosis. We also see a glimpse of their final exchange, perhaps with Strode implying that she would give her own life to save everyone else from Michael Myers.
