Discovery+ has more than 50 original series that viewers can subscribe to, including 90 Day Bares All, Amy Schumer Learns to Cook Uncensored, BattleBots, Bobby and Giada in Italy, Dr. Pimple Popper, This is Zit, and Shark Week. In addition to their rivals, these new services will give consumers more choice and better prices.
Discovery+ will be available in the US on January 4, 2021. The streaming service will have over five thousand episodes. Discovery is also working to close the deal with WarnerMedia, and CEO David Zaslav said the merger will highlight the strength of both companies' content. Zaslav also plans to bundle Discovery+ with HBO Max for a lower price and offer the combined service to customers when the deal closes. A lot of content has already been posted on Netflix.
