1. Storyline of Sing 2

The movie starts when Buster Moon is made to revive his dying theatre with Johnny, Meena, Rosita, Gunter, Rockstar Ash, and Miss Crawly who are his new cast members. But when they reach Crystal entertainment, they were forbidden to enter the audition hall. So, they decide not to give in, and they sneak into the audition hall without anyone knowing and manage to get an audition with Jimmy Crystal. As Jimmy is already uninterested in Buster's moon, Guster, the husband of pig Rosita, suggests performing a song from Clay Calloway.

Clay Calloway is a legendary singer. However, nobody has seen him for the last 15 years. When they tell this to Jimmy, he assumes that Clay will also be performing with them. So, he allowed Buster to his new show.

But now the biggest problem was to find Clay the lion and Miss Crawly was the one who finds Clay and the place he lives in these days. So, she goes there to visit him, but he scares her away from her house because he did not want anyone to visit him.

The next scene is the production, where Rosita must do some stunts in the air but instead of doing anything, she develops her fear of heights which causes Buster more problems. So, now he has to find someone who can take the place of Rosita. They manage to find a girl named Porsha who is the daughter of Jimmy and she agreed to take the role because she doesn't have the fear of heights now Rosita has been given a small role in the show.

Meanwhile, Johnny decides to give up on singing and learn dancing. He got a chance to work with the top choreographer named Klaus Kickenklober but he is very rude and strict towards Johnny due to the fact that he doesn't learn anything and gets sad. After that, Johnny met with a street dancer named Nooshy with whom Johnny shares his problems and after hearing all this he decided to help Johnny out with this problem.

Meena was assigned to a romantic movie in which she played a romantic scene with Darius, but she can't create feelings towards him because she has never been loved before. Later, Meena meets an ice cream vendor elephant named Alfonso with whom she gets closer, and they both fall in love with each other. Soon, Jimmy found out that Buster has never met with Clay the lion before so gets mad and warns Buster if Clay did not perform in the show.

Then, Buster and Ash both decide that they will visit Clay the lion themselves and convince him to perform in their show. Clay tells them that he will not come with them, but Ash motivates him and tries to change his mind. Back at the theater, we see that Rosita has managed to overcome his fear, and now they can exchange the role with Porsha because her acting skills are very bad. Porsha doesn't like this, so she misunderstands that Buster has fired her from his show.

The news went viral when Jimmy came to know about it. He gets outraged and tries to harm Buster and then he locks him inside the closet. After some time, Suki Lane freed him and told him to leave Redshore city right now. In the next scene, we see that Ash arrives with Clay the lion and they encourage Buster that everything will be fine.

When the show starts a jealous Klaus tries to take the place of Johnny's performance partner so he can outnumber him but Johnny defeats him with the help of Nooshy. Meena came up with an idea that she will visualize Alfonso in Darius and she gave a magnificent performance. Porsha also came up with a high-level performance, which made Jimmy more angry, and he decided to kill Buster and throw him from the high catwalk, but Rosita saves him by overcoming her fears of heights.

After they managed to play Clay's famous song in their performance which was the best in the entire show. Furthermore, Jimmy decided to take the credit, but he was arrested by the police for attempting to kill Buster.

Ultimately, when they were going back to Catalonia. Suki stops them and tells them that their performance was the best and they got an offer from a big theater for their show. Everyone was happy and Buster was finally able to see his own show from the VIP section.
