Terms of License Authorization
These Terms of License Authorization supplement the General Terms of Use and specifically govern the scope, management, and restrictions of the software licenses purchased from StreamFab.
1. License Definitions
- Single-User License (1 PC): Unless otherwise stated, a standard license grants the right to install and use the software on one (1) computer only.
- Multi-Computer License: This specific license type allows the software to be authorized on multiple computers (e.g., 3 PCs or 5 PCs) simultaneously under a single account.
- Platform Specificity: Licenses are platform-specific. A license purchased for Windows cannot be used on macOS, and vice versa.
2. Authorization Management & Deauthorization
Users can manage device authorizations through the software client or, with strict limitations, through the online Member Center.
- Client-Side Deauthorization (Recommended): You may deauthorize a computer directly within the software client at any time. There is no limit to the number of times you can deauthorize and reauthorize devices using the client interface, provided you do not exceed your total concurrent device limit.
- User Center Deauthorization (Web-Based): To prevent abuse, web-based deauthorization is strictly reserved for emergency situations where the original device is inaccessible (e.g., hardware failure).
- 1-PC License: You may deauthorize your device via the Member Center only once per year.
- Multi-Computer License: Deauthorization via the Member Center is NOT supported for multi-computer licenses. Management must be performed directly within the software client on the authorized devices.
3. Purchase Restrictions & Non-Stackability
- Non-Stackable: Multi-Computer Authorizations are not stackable. If your current plan already includes multi-device access (whether purchased or received as a bonus), you cannot purchase additional authorizations for the same product to further increase the limit.
- No Duplicate Purchase: The system will prevent the purchase of a Multi-Computer Authorization if it detects that your account already possesses the maximum allowable capacity for that specific product.
4. Household and Personal Use Only
- Household Sharing: Licenses and multi-computer authorizations are intended strictly for use within a single household.
- Prohibition on Sharing: You may not share account credentials or license keys with individuals outside your household.
- Commercial Use Ban: Licenses are for personal, non-commercial use only. Using these licenses to provide paid services to others is strictly prohibited.
5. Updates and Upgrades
- Subscription Licenses: You are entitled to free updates and major upgrades only while your subscription is active.
- Lifetime Licenses: You are entitled to free updates for the lifetime of the product, subject to continued product availability and support.
6. Contact Support
